Hi folks - currently driving a Merc CLK 500 but have a deposit down on a 2010 XKR that will be picked up early in the new year.

It's Ultimate Black with black interior/headliner and cranberry contrast stitch and dark oak veneer. I'm getting the chrome vents/intakes on the front "dechromed" and redone in black too. Should come up rather nice

That sounds sweet. I've liked the black/cranberry stitch look more than I thought I would. Make sure to post some pictures when you get your new ride. I think you are on the right track with the "de-chroming."

And here she is.................all the promo and review photos I've seen to this point don't really convey how low and wide this car is and I don't think I've succeeded either being a crap photographer.

Best I could do on an ordinary day in the wet. Having a few PC issues today too as evidenced by the last photo.
