Default Hi from Minnesota

Hi, I just bought an 03 X-Type Sport! Thought I would drop a line and thank anyone out there who may have influenced Jag to develop the all wheel drive model. Couldn't be happier!

Welcome JagMN. I mean "welcome to the forum". Not "you're welcome for the all-wheel-drive". You know what I mean. Where's your pictures?

Wecome aboard! Here is a neat bit of trivia 'bout the X. You can thank Ford for it. While under Ford, they wanted a A4 / BMW 3 fighter. So they went with a tried and true European Ford platform for the small Jag. Fearing that the North American consumer wouldn't go for a front drive premium, they decided to make an AWD version. AWD is standard on US cars and optional on Euro cars.

Ya you betcha we need that all wheel drive up here. lol.

We all don't really talk like that, but we do definitely use the AWD!! Another 6" of snow forecasted this week.

Interesting trivia, it seems like the decision paid off for a while at least because there are alot of x-types on the roads around here.

Pictures comming soon...
