Welcome to the forum Ray,

Big challenge but well worth it.

Follow this link MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum for help, advice and to exchange information with others doing similar restorations.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Be great if you can start a thread there and post pics as it progresses.

Graham

Ray,

Looking remarkably solid after six years standing in a field.

I am by Munich - largest town Landserg am Lech.

Yes the upper part is solid but the underneath well thats another story. I plan to replace cross member, two skirt panels, two half wings, crows feet, all lower door skins, sills, lower half of trunk as well as other bits I have not found yet

OK you're about a 2-1/2hr drive from me.

My local Jaguar specialist (not dealer, more like restorer, his workshop looks like a museum) has a couple of MK2's in pieces and bare shells, as well as lots of parts. He's not cheap (nothing here is) but might be able to help with odd stuff.

If you needed...
