Default Hi from a new XKR owner in Cornwall .

I have at last taken the plunge and purchased my first Jaguar after many years of hankering after a 'Big Cat'. It's a 2001 XKR and I'm really pleased with it, except for a couple of points that I want to sort out. Firstly, the radio doesn't power up at all and I've checked what I think are the correct fuses and all seems well but still no tunes. Secondly, there is what I think is a squeaky super charger belt that starts squealing about thirty seconds after a cold start and then seems to clear away after about three or four minutes, never to re appear again.......until the next cold start.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Andy.

Welcome to the forum Andy,

Congratulations on the XKR. A good looking example with a fine set of split rim alloys. However did you manage to get it through that gate?

Follow Norri's link to the XK8/XKR section for help. advice and information.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
