Default Hi From New Zealand

Gidday all,

Garry is my name and I'm from Auckland NZ.

For the last three years I have owned a 2004 XKR Coupe in Midnight Black with the warm charcoal interior, it has the 20 inch wheel and super sport suspension upgrades, Recaro seats and premium sound .... and I love the damn thing!

The classic lines of these true GT cars were what attracted me, and having just completed 4500 km in 16 days I have to say the driving performance and comfort (even with the sport suspension) is just wonderful.

cheers

Welcome to the forum Sea Kiwi.

Shows just how poor my geography is, I didn't think the Island was that big.

Agree the XKR is a great looking car.

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome from another XKR owner - I reckon this model is the most beautiful Jaguar ever made.
There's quite a lot of Kiwis on the forum - you can search members by country to find them

You are right, I drove from Auckland in the North Island to Bluff at the very bottom of the South Island and back. Very good oysters down there!

Thanks for the welcome Steve, this time last year I was in France for 10 weeks, driving a Clio, unfortunately not a Jag!

Welcome to the forum Garry,

Great car and sounds like a superb trip to make in it.

Enjoy the XKR and follow this link to the XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section for help, advice and general conversation about the model.
