Default Hi People - another refugee here!

Hello folks, like others I guess, I found you guys trying to find out why the UK forum was down. Looks like a good place to be :-)

Yeah - I Know you're gonna want pictures of my ride, a 2001 S-type 4.0V8, It's been everything I expected of it and more, I've learnt a few things on the way all the same, so hopefully I may be some help to you guys.

I guess it's just that we live in the UK, the rims are 18' Jaguar Mercury's, thanks to the power of ebay the full set cost me less than a single wheel from a dealer. - He-He, no surprise there then!

Yep they are buggers to clean, great when they are.
I`ve tried all sorts of cleaners, brushes and sealants to try and make the job easier.

If you ever have to change the brake pads again, you might consider aftermarket ones, Akebono Euro ceramics reduced my brake dust to about 10% from OEM ones. I'd do anything to make that wheel job easier.

I dunno what you mean!
My local hand car wash staffed by very thorough eastern european immigrants don't seem to have any trouble at all !
