Hi from Southampton uk!
Hello I'm Martin from sunny Southampton.. I've just bought my second xjr, 2000 x308 in dark blue to go along side my 1995 carnival red x300 xjr. I am very exited as I've been after this car for the last few years after the last (mature) owner decided to down grade after 10 years of ownership to a ford focus estate...he spend a fortune on it over his ownership including racing green exhaust and lowering upgrades to to sum of £7000!!,& last year new timing chains/tensioners,water pump,head gaskets etc to the sum of£3500 so I have peace of mind that he kept it in a1 condition and I look forward to driving it in the coming months & years.

The X308 sounds to have had all the usual culprits resolved.
Follow Norri's link to the tech sections for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' threads at the top of each are a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hi,thanks for the warm welcome guys,see there is lots of good information on here,I'll be having a good read about it all & I will keep you all posted on how I get on with the car,Cheers all.
