hit to all
took the plunge on a 95 xjr for a grand in pounds.....powder blue metalic looks nice...hopefully will be nice
been 18 years since my foray with a daimler double six.....which was a dog
Im getting rid of an e34 M5 for this....so hope lm making the right choice even tho the cars are different animals...the XJR cant possibly be more of a headache and is a lot easier on price of parts relatively speaking
my other cars are 1992 ZR1 corvette and 1982 superchaged mustang...which makes the XJR a bit of a softie for me ....but the comfort should be appealing
love the look of it tho....pretty cat

hi again gentlemen (haha...it would be hi again 'guys' in some of my other forums but this is a Jaguar site and ones greetings should contain some eleoquent deportment.....innit)
anyway the ole boy should be delivered by this weekend to my house and l wont see it for a few weeks until lm next home to UK from Ukraine where l normally work and then its a basic oil and filter service and a hammer inspection (i hit everything with a hammer and if it drops off l know what the next job is...mini blisters so lm told by seller which means gaping hole probably)
Plans are propane conversion for more ecconomic daily driving, water meth injection and have some supercharger/crank pulleys machined up so l can test the supposed 150k mile bottom end up to as near 400 bhp as l csn get, no doubt potentially ending in a bang but not for a while yet l hope
the cars in my collection are an e34 M5 (for now anyway) 1992 Corvette ZR1, and a pretty well full blown 1982 supercharged mustang GT drag racing car (with an MOT of sorts) so the XJR will be the slowest thing in the pack as it is...but by far the most elegant
But in the meantime my VW" golf driving son will say 'but dad its an old mans car' at least until l kick his cars *** all over the place if the XJR is as good as it looks
not mad about the colour but it is bright I'll give it that

Seems as we have a few things in common such as ice blue 1995 Jaguar XJR and a connection to Ukraine -- my wife is from Ukraine (West) originally, no she's not a mail-ordered bride lol.
Ver nice looking XJR!
Ver nice looking XJR!
haha....
dial a bride!...mine neither....She was was simply the prettiest candidate for document controller on a project I was working on 10 years ago....one thing led to another.
as for car....Yea the best color in my opinion ...just wished mine started.
got some electrical or security system issues which i ''hopefully'' sort out when im next back home
that and bad rear arches and holes here and there....its a work in progress
but yea in that blue....they are huuuuuge
