How to replace side mirror without breaking it 2005 xk8
Hello,
Is there a secret to reinstalling the passenger side mirror without breaking it?
I am in the process of replacing the side view mirror on the passenger side and I have the old mirror with plastic case removed and the new one ready to go. I have reconnected the 2 connections and I see how the mirror/plastic case should go back on but i am afraid I will break the glass if I push to hard. Does anyone know how to do this without breaking the glass.
Love my 2005 xk8 ....few mechanical issues but it seems to attract annoying trouble...too many to list now but I will one day soon when i have time to vent.
