Howdy From Allen, TX
Hello Everyone,
I am currently shopping for a new-to-me but used vehicle to replace my 2013 Ford Explorer Sport. The V6 with twin turbos in that car make it a joy to drive and I confess I am sold on the 365 horsepower it provides me. But alas, it's at 108,000 miles now and 10 years old. I've been on the hunt for a replacement since about 90,000 miles but Ford's offerings have REALLY suffered in recent times. Sadly, I'm likely to end my Explorer streak after 30 years!
I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the F-Pace S and F-Pace SVR models on the market. Beautiful styling and power, but disappointing in terms of cockpit cubbyholes and storage. But still beautiful vehicles!
I'm having a hard time convincing myself the jump in price the V8 creates. On the used market it's typically in the 18-22k dollar range. And while I bet it's a BLAST to drive, is it a $20,000 differential blast?
I've also seen the "XF Sportbrake S AWD" model and LOVE the look of it, too.
So, that's where I am right now. A daily shopper and a potential Jaguar newbie, too!
Thanks for any and all future assistance, and for the guidance you may have already offered me on the site.

Welcome to the forums John,
In terms of in terms of cockpit cubbyholes and storage, there's little difference. It really comes down to your requirement for carrying capacity. If you don't need the additional height in the loadspace offered by the F-Pace, the Sportsbrake is likely to a better experience.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums and the search for your preferred Jaguar.
