Default Howdy from Texas

My busy afternoon consisted of buying a 1997 XK8, then satisfying the bureaucracy: motor vehicle inspection, title transfer, registration and new tags. Then every member of the household had a turn riding around with me to run a succession of invented errands. Oddly enough, no one wanted to ride in the back seat.

So far I am happy with the addition to the driveway.

I'm already tapping into the forum's collected wisdom about rear view mirrors and headlight condensation. I have no doubt I will dig deeper over time.

Regards,
Tom

Welcome to the forum Tom,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-southwest-az-tx-nm-ok-37/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome.

Nice pick up there.

I hope you had time for a celebration drink somewhere in that HUGE day.

I'll have a quick JD just for the hell of it, on your behalf.

"New" cars have a way of inventing errands. Congrats and enjoy!!! I recently purchased a Super V8 and find myself doing the SuperTramp "thing"......taking the long way home.
