I have been a Jaguar owner for about 30 years, started with a XJ6 series 1 then 2 and 3, now I own a XJ8 1999 model and a XJ-S V12 convertable 1992; the XJ-S in a super car and I have owned it for about 12 years, no problems just tyre and battery changes, whereas the XJ8 has Nikasil problems, and I am dropping a 4,2 V8 into it to replace the 4,0, it should all go together fairly easily if I swop over all the "hang ons" and sensors.
