Default From Illinois......mostly!

Good morning all. My name is Gary and I am 55 and retired. I just traded a 2011 Panamera 4s for my new Lunar Grey XJL. I have always been a bit of a car nut, and currently own a 2010 XF Supercharged, a 2008 Aston Martin Vantage, a 2013 Audi A-7 and a 2010 Audi Q5. My wife and I spend time in Marco Island Florida, Lake Mills Wi, and our home in northern Illinois. I have owned Jaguars many times over the years, and this may be my new favorite!

Welcome to the forum Gjr23,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums. That's a great selection in your garages(s).

I see we managed to get an answer on the J Blades for you yesterday.

Follow this link XJ ( X351 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X351 section and this one XF and XFR ( X250 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XF/XFR section for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each tech section is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Mid West Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mid-west-us-il-ia-mi-mn-mo-oh-wi-39/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Default Welcome!

Hi Gary,

Welcome, nice to have you join us.
I worked at JaguarSport in Kidlington England from 1991 to 1994 and due to Aston Martin and Jaguar's link with Ford, I got to work on the wiring for the DB7, which was designed at JaguarSport. I never got to drive one, but I did get to drive the JaguarSport XJR-S 6.0l V12 home quite a few times and I did not even have to pay for the fuel.
Anyway if you have not already done so check out the link in my signiture to touch base with your "local" forum members.

Thanks for the welcome Scott. As a former Badger, with two of my three kids also Badgers, I spend a bit of time in Madison! In fact, I will be at the game Saturday! Thanks again!
