Default Intro - first post

Hello All,
I've just signed up on the forum. I own a 2007 XK base model that now has 31k miles, and have had it for a couple of years.
I formerly owned a '61 Mk2 for about 10 years. I've owned 2 Series Land Rovers over the years. One was/is a Dormobile.
I also have four motorcycles, which is too many. Two Vincents and two roundcase Ducati 750s, one a GT, and one a Sport.
I'm going through the few XK "gotchas". I murdered my duckbill using the great posts on this forum on how to do it.
I've just done a rather poor job of fixing my sagging headliner. I'll be contacting Mr. tberg about purchasing a couple yards of new material so I can fix my fix.
I'm hoping to avoid having to replace the buried under the intake manifold hose for a few more thousand miles.
Other than those, I'm enjoying the car very much. My wife and I will be taking it from our home in Redlands, CA to Cambria, CA for a week or so.
Thanks for reading.
