Introduction
Hello from Northern California. I'm a proud owner of a 1997 XJR. I have owned the car since 1999 and recently had it painted with the factory black paint. The exterior looks terrific and I went from the shame of driving a beat up old car to turning heads with the new exterior. I'll post some pics as I just realized they are on my wife's phone and I have none to attach.
I'm pleased to find this forum as I now plan to keep the XJR until I drop! Currently working on the audio, but not looking to pull out the factory radio. I found a nice post on bluetooth for the factory radio and replied with an update for a simple plug to the cd changer (no tearing out the console). I'm also looking for an economical way to replace the driver's seat skin. All of the upholstery is in excellent shape except for the driver's and I am trying to avoid $2000 for a complete set. Any suggestions are appreciated.
