Default Introduction to the club

Hello, everyone.
I am Vic Douse and live in Prince Edward Island Canada.
Last summer while looking to replace my 11 year old ford windstar, kids are grown now, I ended up with an 2003 X-Type 2.5L with 75,000 KM on it.

I almost bought an Jaguar in 1990 while at University, a friends was sell her White 1972 jaguar XJ6, but my Dad convinced me it would be too hard to find parts for it.

Best vehicle I have every driven in the Winter in my life.
I also bought JTIS CD for it, but ok but I was hoping for me.

I was very impressed with the large thread on upgrading the CD player. Very cool.

I figure if an Jaguar is good enough for the Middletons, its good enough for me.

Vic

Welcome to the forum Vic,

The X is ideal for Winter isn't it?

Actually it almost no fun as you have to work hard to get the wheels to spin at all, and if you do succeed in getting her to fishtail, one little touch of the Steering wheel and she straightens right up.

I am going to look for 2008 3.0L loaded next.

Hi Vic welcome aboard......nice choice with the X type

There's usually plenty going on in most sections, most of the time.

You might find the off topic good for fun, maybe check out the mug shot thread and add yours?
Don't forget the regional section and also the detailing section is a must.

Some good guys and great techs, top vendors and more to come....all good

In the meantime I've upgraded you manually to full forum access so you can better veiw the site
