Issue to lock my JAGUAR XJL 2016

Issue to lock my JAGUAR XJL 2016
I noticed that the driver side rear door soft lock is not working. As a result I can not lock my car.
it is XJL 2016.
ray CATENA ( the dealer) have all kinds of stories. I will appreciate some advise from the members.

It is likely to be a fault with the door latch but there is also a door module and several control processes involved. There are numerous relevant DTC's (error codes) for door lock faults which could aid troubleshooting. I'd certainly start with a diagnostics session because letting a dealer throw parts at a Jaguar soon gets very expensive.
