Hello all,

I have yet to purchase a jag and before I do am interested in the vast experience i hope to be enlightened to on this site.

xj6 or xj8? what engine size? are there any diesels? what is the mpg? and what should i look out for when i buy one?

You'll find plenty of information here on all the Jaguar models. You mention XJ6 and XJ8 so must be thinking of a four door saloon rather than a two door XK8 Coupe or Convertible?

Scroll down from this New Member Area - Intro a MUST section to Jaguar Models and you'll find sections on all the XJ's from early XJ6 from 1968 right up to the latest from 2009. The FAQ's at the top of each section is a good place to start.
