Jag X Type 2002. 2.5. Headlights.
Greetings from Shipley to all.
Jag X Type 2.5 2002. petrol.
Got through MOT on Thursday last. On getting back home I discovered the headlights had packed in. Main beam works on indicator column stalk but dip not on. Checked bulbs to find both had failed/blown. Replaced both bulbs.
My car mechanic thinks the problem is with the indicator main beam on the actual column. I have checked all the fuses.
However I have ordered a second hand indicator switch on EBAY which may not be here in time for me to change it before hols.. Is it worth getting a auto electrician in to sort out the problem? Has anyone else had same problem.
Also have engine management light on since I replaced a hose unit. Car is running fine with no problems. Can light be reset?
