Default Jag XF 2013 will not accept rolling codes

Never tried to program home link until now. Home link chaps say I need a repeater to accept rolling codes. I say a shotgun will put an end to this nonsense.

Tried all home link suggestions and also instructions in the car manual under rolling codes section to no avail. Have now spent 4 hours today with variations to Home link and UM. Still no success.

Ready for a beer cool down but I am afraid I will forget where I
I have been in this maze.

How can I access Jaguar technical bulletins for any possible secret poop?

Thx
