Just picked up a white, 2005 S Type R, in new york for my wife. 7800 miles, classy car and a real beauty. Hoping to get a ipod set up for her soon. Not so happy with the cd unit. Navigation ok, and satalite radio cool too.

Welcome Jimi,

You've 'replied' to tanios post instead of starting one of your own. It could get lost here.

Suggest you post your Intro again using the NewThread button at the top left of the New Member Area - Intro a MUST section.

Welcome to the right place Jimi,

I'd heard NY traffic was bad but 7800 miles in 7 years...!

S-Type and Audio/Visual Electronics sections will have plenty of advice on iPod integration. Jaguar sound systems are still firmly stuck in the 20th century.

Glad to hear that I am in the correct place. The car has 78000 miles instead of 7800. I am hopping that we will have good luck with it. Saving to purchase the ACM for the ipod. From my forum readings this is the best way to go. as you can see it is a beauty!!!

That's mileage is still nothing to worry about on a well maintained Jaguar.

Haven't seen a white Jaguar of any model for several years in the UK. From the photo, yours looks immaculate.

Good luck getting the iPod interface installed.

Welcome to another STR owner. Hop on over to the S-Type section and meet a lot of great people. Lots of very good info there.
