Default New to the forum - 2011 XFR

Guess I'll get my intro done by telling the forum a bit about me and my gently used XFR (@ 6,725 miles).

My name is Kelley, but I'll go by the "Kelster" on the forum.

I have 2011 XFR, black exterior, warm charcoal/london tan interior, and optional equipment - red brake calipers and jet headliner.

One of my rear headrest has an imperfection so I wanted to replace the original equipment headrests (solid london tan) with a set of warm charcoal/london tan contrast stitching/piping.

Any suggestions?

P.S. KELSTER license plates should be arriving in a few days.

Good to have you with us.
Head on over to the XF section and the guys will help with the headrest.

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Default Head Rest Issue

If you have a manufactures defect with the headrest, remember the warranty on a 2011 is really long and it would be covered. If its a styling preference then it will be costly. Watch out... those 510 ponies come on fast. Good luck.

Greetings from Texas, and not to mention a little envious of your new jag! Enjoy both it and the forums.

Welcome Kelster from SoCal. I'm trying to correlate "gently used" and "XFR" Isn't that an oxymoron???

Correction - gently used, as it was a required vehicle (RAV) and the previous owner had a carseat behind the driver's seat. The carseat created an impression (dent) in the headrest that will not come out.

The dealership said that it was not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

I'll run it by another dealership just to make sure.

Thanks for the advise.
