Hi all I’m new here I guess I found you looking for some advice. I bought a 2106 EX 2.0 Diesel Auto 9 months ago and have been having issues since. The engine light came on for low oil mid December I checked straight away and there was a perfect amount in the engine. I did still top up slightly to be sure. The light went off and came back on but won’t stay on. So I check regularly and still the oil level is correct.
now there is a noice from tej bottom of the engine sounds like a bottle caught in the back wheel of a bike (like all those years ago) I brought it back to see I got the car and he say it needs a new engine! And it’s not covered so I either pay for a new engine or I’ve no car and lose the money , which I can’t afford for either if I’m honest.
I loved this car when I got it. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated
