AC and vent blows hot air
HI! First let me say you are a brave soul for inviting these questions, but also a nice guy!
We have a '04 S-type V8. AC and Ram air (what we call "the vent") blows hot air - no matter what temperature you set the AC. In fact, the lower the temp set, the hotter the air. Vent blows hot in freezing outdoor temp. What should we check first? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

The guy you are addressing is another one of those who showed up for one day and disappeared...check the post dates.
I don't have much experience with S Types, all of my work is XJ and some XK. You might want to start a new thread with your question: the only dealer techs who are currently active participants to my knowledge are Brutal and jag_genius. Either of those gentlemen are knowledgeable and trustworthy, but there are limits to the precision of remote diagnosis and the required repairs are often not within the realm of the Do It Yourselfer. Hopefully you'll get some advice from them, or another member with some specific knowledge of you climate control system.
