Default Jaguar spotted roaming in the Australian bush...

G'day from Dora Creek, Australia. Have just bought my first Jag a 1998 XJ8 in immaculate condition with 200,000 k's on the speedo. Something to be said about buying a car owned since new by a supreme court judge!

Only drawback is the colour (Titanium) and if I could find someone to respray it for less than the car cost me, I'd make it look even more beautiful than she already is.

Only thing to change is the original Jag radio for an aftermarket 1 DIN slide in with a pop up screen. Looks like I'll have to make my own fascia surround.

Enjoying seeing the wealth of advice and information made available by knowledgeable and helpful people all around the world that share the passion that is Jaguar.

Welcome to the forum sharpinjr,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

You could find Jaguars a harder habit to kick than smoking!

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj8-xjr-x308-27/ to the X308 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the Australia - NSW Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/australia-new-south-wales-act-93/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Thanks Graham but I think at least one of us has got a computer inhabited by Gremlins or some kind of satanic force that cause neither of the links you embedded to go to the correct place. The Australia/NSW link went to the Canadian forum and the X308 link went to the S type forum. I am an Newbie here so maybe I did something incorrectly?
