Welcome Razfan!
I have the 2017 XF (model x260) with 3.0L petrol v6 and a timing chain.

It appears your upcoming '15 XF 2.2L Diesel runs a belt.

For my cam belt cars (Alfa, Porsche, Honda), to be safe I never went beyond 100k km (60k miles).

How many km on your prospective XF?
Good luck in your purchase!

83.000kms had right now , I was reading about it and looks like the belt should be changed with 180.000kms Or 7 years I don’t know for sure if this is true nor not

Welcome to the forums Razvan,

Good to have you with us.

2015 was a model change year for the XF. The original 2007 - 2015 version (X250) was replaced by the almost entirely new current 2015 onwards (X260) version. Looking at the Parts Catalogue, I think your 2015 2.2 diesel will be the earlier model? If so, it is the only XF with a belt.

Good advice in post #2 from F1Virginia. I would add that service history is very important with any used Jaguar. The service interval is every 12 months OR 15k miles - whichever comes first.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
