Just bought a 2005 jaguar stype 3.0

Default Just bought a 2005 jaguar stype 3.0
Hello,
So my 2005 jaguar stype has flares in 4th gear and I am looking for a cheaper fix for this. When I look up on internet I see cost of these transmissions are more than 50% price of my car. So I am looking for transmissions that can fit to 2005 Jaguar S-type 3.0L.

Welcome to the Forums.

Lots of info about that fault with that 6 speed ZF trans. Very stake fluid being at the very top of the long list.

The S Type (X200) Tech Section is the place for that.

Welocome. I don't know exactly when this happens but flares is a term to say during shifting clutch will not engage properly. My far has 6speed auto ZF transmission.
