Just bought my very first Jag
Hello everybody, my name is Lionnel, I live in southern France.
I just bought my first Jag, one of the very first (first registration April 2004, but I found hidden stickers of February 2004 on it) X-Type 3.0 Estate.
The first owner was an old Italian Lady located in Roma (Jags are really cheap in Italy) and I bought the car directly from her. My Jag wasn't in very good shape when I got it, very dirty inside, and the body had a lot of marks and dents, but now everything has been cleaned / repaired. Still have little well-known problems, like broken adjusters on headlights, but reparation kit is ordered.
My car has been used mainly in city, so mileage is quite low (64 000 kilometers > 40 000 miles) but considering its first use, a complete change of al liquids is programmed for next week. 4 new socks also ordered.
Thanks a lot for accepting my membership, I apologise for my probably not-so-perfect english.

Thanks a lot guys ! This forum is highly useful for me, I found a lot of informations I was searching for.
I don't actually have pics of my car (it is on the "things to be done" list) it is BRG with a Champagne leather interior an 17' rims. As I usually do when I get a new car, a huge maintenance is in progress on it, I check everything and replace all what I don't like.
By the way, I found a tranny fluid that meets all specs I found in Jaguar's technical bulletins, Jatco 3100 PL085, Ford M2C922-A1 and K17, it is the Fuchs Titan ATF 4400, muuuuuuuuch cheaper than Jaguar's platinium-with-diamants fluid, just updated the topic about auto gearboxes fluids.
