Talking just changed my golf to an S type

hi guys i saw this bargain motor on an auction site, it was owned by a guy at my dads work year 2000 and has very low milage so i decided to go for it and had zero competition so got it for a steal.

checked it over at the weekend and found the old oil filter was rusty as hell and seeping oil (common ???) dont know when it was fitted but its sorted now

only other thing id like to replace is the passangers side front windscreen trim as its started bubling a bit, any tips/breaker reccomendations ?

also anyone know where the parking sensor modules on ebay plug in to the car and what sensors do i need for it ?

overall very happy with the car

Welcome to the forum,

Rusty oil filter! good job you changed it.

Head over to the S section for answers to your questions, you'll need to give some more details on the car, year, engine, etc.

Welcome! So you from the UK? Wow...Land of the Jaguars & Aston Martins!!!

I am a new member here too, and I am from Canada.

S-type is a nice car, and I was looking at it too before I bought a black X-type!

Welcome to the forum, I'm sure that you will feel the difference.

Post up any tech questions over in the S Type section (after having a search first of course).
