First things first, put your car details etc in your singature here.....it will help people to see at a glance what issues you're having with what car and if they can help!

Get any codes you have for issues with your car and post them up into the S type section....The techs . gurus in there will beall over it like a rash and advice will come soon after I'm sure.
Check the FAQ section and read, read, read some more......Its a good guess some of your issues have already been experienced by other users and there's details already there.............
There really are some amazing and friendly guys here....you're in really good company to discuss anything Jag related or even just to have a few laughs!
