Hey everyone,

This looks like a great forum and I'm looking forward to talking cars and getting to know everyone a bit more.

My Jaguar story:
I decided to take an 84 XJS off my Father In-Laws hands that he had sitting in his yard for 8 years. It's in pretty rough shape seeing that it's been in the elements for that long.
Anyway, it does not run and the brakes are pretty much shot along with some other things. I decided to take a part the entire rear assembly just so I could get in there and see what kind of damage has taken place thus far.
So far I'm going to replace/rebuild all the brake components, see what I can do with the suspension and have already had the rear differential looked at. All it needed were some new gaskets, new oil and new bearings.

Anyway, that's enough of that. I'm looking forward to really getting into Jaguars. I'm pretty much an all around car guy and have already customized a Honda Civic and Ford Mustang. I feel as if I've graduated to the Jaguar....lol
