Hello, Bob,
That's how Jaguars steal our hearts; they make us work on them. It's a form of bonding.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

I've been busy for the last month or so , welded sills , rear bearing , cv boot , headlights, gear lever boot, hole in the back rest , all my own labour at a cost of 150 euro ish . My NCT is on 30 May and I hope the last thing is reversing sensors . Time to check this site for links and info.

Bob,

You've clearly gone through the car methodically. I hope the test goes OK.

I haven't been to Galway since a motoring holiday with my parents more than fifty years ago. It seemed a very long way from Dublin so I'm surprised to find it's only 207 miles. No motorways in those days.

As you'll be going through the Midlands, Steve at SB Wheels could be worth an inquiry:

Good to hear the NCT went well.

I understand vehicle tax is considerably more painful in Eire than it is is in UK so today could be a less happy one for you.
