Graham, life is wonderful. My kitty purrs again. Here in the U.S. some car dealerships put a system on your car so that they can automatically disengage the ignition if you don't make your car payments. Well, i made my 1st car payment on the 11th and didn't know that i had to call the loan company a manually punch in a code on a little remote in my glove box. Well as suggested by DreWRoolz who lives here where i am, checked with my loan company and was told that every month after making my payment, i need to call them and manually punch in a new code. Did that and she started right up. Took my new battery back. You guys are great. I'm hooked. I will be working on my own car with the advice of you guys because i've been all over this sight and you really know y'alls stuff.

An immobiliser fitted by the dealer for the finance company! We haven't got that little gizmo in the UK yet but it'll only be a matter of time.
