Default Just want to say Hi

Just wanted to say Hi to you all as a new member. I have been reading posts for a few years now as a guest and have found lots of great info and tips for keeping my Jag running. I now feel I should register so that I can start thanking people for the advice they are giving. I am now on my second X-type and to be honest, I don't think I will ever change to anything else ( well I could be tempted by an XF )
So here is a picture of my old ride, a 2004 2.0D SE

and here is my current one a 2009 2.0D Sovereign

Welcome.

Good looking pair there.

The "Compression Ignition" cars are getting more popular here, but the fuel still has a ways to go.

With petrol costs the way they are in the UK and the miles per gallon difference in the fuels, its the only way I can afford to run such a stunning looking car.

I always have a wry smile when our USA members complain about their fuel prices. It's under $3 per gallon (US) at the moment - that's £0.52 per litre!

Hi Carid
Thanks for the nice comment about my car. I would love to do the video upgrade to my Sat Nav as explained in a post by Dennis Black on the forum. The only problem I have with doing it, is that I cannot source the adapter by Navtool. They will not ship it out of the USA. I will try and find an alternative in the UK as I would love to build a car computer for all my media etc.
