Hey all. Finally have my 2009 SC after going through the very convoluted transfer of ownership process this country has...

Always been a BMW guy, but got turned on to the XF after the XFR-M5 comparison on Top Gear. This country is littered with BMWs & M-Bs, and the resale value of recent used models are still up there because of their popularity.

Found this US spec model on the most popular local classifieds website. Ran the VIN on Carfax, came back clean, did the deal.





I've already ordered the replacement interior/some exterior LEDs from VLEDS (Thanks to BigCat09). I'm a serious hobbyist photographer, so I'll be taking plenty of in-progress pics of any project I attempt to better illustrate some of the threads I've read that could beneficent from better photographs.

The XF looks great. It'll be interesting to follow further in-progress pics.

I won't be the only one wondering which 'this country' happens to be from the 'New York' plates and 'Sandbox Metropolis' location. As a Mod, I can look up your location but members can't.

As per the novelty license plates, I'm a native NYer, currently working in the Middle East, hence the sandbox metropolis location.
