Default Let me introduce myself- 2003 xkr

Hello All!
My name is David Wolski from Phoenix, AZ
My wife and I have a pair of 2003 XKRs She has a convertible as her daily driver. Mine is a black coupe which I was told by the previous owner and Jaguar Collector that it once scored well at a Concours. It is not my daily driver with under 50,000 miles, I’m attempting to keep the mileage down while still enjoying the thrill of driving a High Performance Luxury Sports Car.
Most of my time with this car is spent rubbing it with a soft cloth and enjoying the lines and curves of this beautiful machine. Despite my lack of writing skill, poor sentence structure , and misspelling, I hope to contribute to the group.
Thank you for the opportunity.

Hello, David,
Jaguars were meant to be DRIVEN, although I do understand how hard it is for a man to keep his hands off such a Beautiful body.

One thing you might consider, you need to be sure you have some sort of polishing fluid between that cloth and the paint/clear coat. I knew of a fella in my childhood who polished his car so much he went through the paint to the primer! Probably really cheap paint, but still.....

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
