Default Looking at XJR's

Looking at possibly getting a @2005 XJR, so researching right now.
Will post in the relevant section to ask specifics that the search wont bring up, so just wanted to say Hiya!

Welcome to the forum Martin,

Good to see you're a member of the small group who do the research before buying the vehicle!
Enjoy the search, ask all the questions you need and I hope you find a good one.

Cheers Graham.
I know from experience that there are some options you want/dont want, and certain model years that had "issues" etc. So I always figure spending a few days on the internerd and asking questions is time well spent mate!
I moved here from Lytham St Annes in 1999, so am more than "acquainted" with fine English automobiles (That and a healthy dose of Top Gear!).

Martin,

It still hasn't stopped raining since you left Lytham St Annes.

I've posted an answer about diagnostics in your thread on the X350 section.

Jim and Graham,
Many many thanks for the warm welcome

I also posted a similar thread on an Audi forum, due to us considering a 2006 A6 also. Needless to say, the welcome wagon here is a little more "on the ball".
Thanks a lot fella's, it makes a world of difference when considering leaving your comfort zone of LR and Jeep products.

Jags are related to the LR, and we've got lots of old jeep owners. The decision seems obvious which direction to choose. :-) welcome...in advance!
