I've been reading and researching here so thought I should join in on the occassional discussion. I have an '02 3.0 X-Type Sport auto. Platinum on charcoal. 55K miles on her. She spent the first part of her life in Arizona and now lives with us in Alberta, Canada(the land filled with BMW's, small SUVs and F350 Super Duties).

Since we've had her, she's had new upper and lower mesh grills installed, her leaper was swapped out for a green 3.0 Sport badge from a euro spec S-type, new silver Enkie J10 wheels for her summer Michelins and the original wheels hold her winter Michelins.

The only real problems I've had was replacing the prop shaft (center bearing noise didn't show up in the warmer climate) and I've just recently replaced the IMT o-rings, brake boost hose and check valve, and PCV hose to stop intake leaks and the associated intermittent codes.

Looking forward to discussing our X-types as long as we can remember occassionally why we love them as much as we do.
