New to Jags and new to the forum. Bought new tires recently, and found out that several of the lugs wouldn't come off. The dealer did remove them and then smashed back on those he had trouble with. He told me to purchase the lugs and they would remove the smashed and replace the new.

Trying to decide which lugs I need without going to a dealer. There are several on Ebay - but not sure which way to go. Any suggestions.

 

That sounds rather dim-witted on the part of whoever did the work. Hopefully, you just mean the decorative caps.

At this point, unless you know all the dimensions that have to match on a new lug nut, and know how to check them, you are best to stick with the genuine article.

All that smashing doesn't sound good.

Ask the guys in the XJ8 section and I'm sure they will have the specs that you need.
