Hi all -

German car guy who somehow finds myself with three Brits right now - the 2000 XJ8L and a '93 Range Rover LWB and a '73 MGB GT. The Jag is the biggest headache of the bunch... the other two I just hit with a hammer and they start working again. Maybe I'm using the wrong size hammer?

Anyway, thanks in advance for all the help!

Welcome to the forum.

I find keeping a good range of hammers handy works best.

Welcome.

Clarke is hammer related.

I prefer the alcohol approach. Then the hammers, usually the bigger the better.

Both seem to sooth in their own way.

Any thing can be fixed with a big enough hammer. The secret is finding the right size.

But, don't foget the duct tape - it is like the force - it has a light side, a dark side and it holds the universe together!

Duct Tape, WD40 and a hammer - What else does a good tool kit need?

Thanks for the welcome, all! I need to get a pic of the Jag, but here's one of both of the other angry Brits and an American and a German to actually get me where I need to go
