Default Maf and egr issues

I have been struggling for months with what I thought was a MAF sensor or EGR problem being loose wires or dodgy sensor various mechanics tried and failed to sort out the sluggish performance.

The black smoke out the back and kangaroo running. All without success the only way to get any decent running was to keep the maf disconnected. This though was producing really crap performance. So I heard about a guy in Wigan called jag man the other day and called to make an appointment for a diagnostic.

So this morning I arrived he plugged my car in came back five minutes later and said its your turbo boost line its split I can do it now as I have one on the shelf so for a diagnostic the part and labour and an hr of his time my car now runs better than it ever has in two yrs and I'm a very happy chappy and the few hundred quid I thought I'd have to spend turns out to be just less than a hundred what a bargain.

What I liked when I got there was the only thing in the garages was jags various makes and yrs but all jags so if you want the gurus name who's made me enjoy my car again it's dave Radcliffe (jag man) tel 01942 861500 he is a great guy to have in the tool box
