Hello, Mark,
Congratulations on your new S-type Jaguar!
As your "new" car is now over 20 years old it's not too surprising it needs some attention. Most of the things you mention require maintenance over time anyway. The two of you will get on Just Fine!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

True so I fixed the rear brakes and painted a few parts.under the car with what they call here pro zink it's a zinkbased paint used on trains under the cars and on the roofs and it stays for over 40 years.
