New to the Jaguar ownership, started off with a Chevy converted 1974 Series 2. I really have not even picked the car up yet, a Christmas gift from the wife. We head up to Tenn. on the 9th to bring it back, I am driving it and the wife will follow. Car looks very clean with just detailing that needs to be done. The 350 TPI engine looks very professionally installed but do know the AC will need to be hooked up and the floats to the rear fuel tanks as well, the tanks are new and have never had the sending units hooked up. The rest looks like a straight forward paint and interior detailing and we will be set. I have always loved the style of the low slung Jags, even in the 4 door they just look so elegant, low and lean as they sleek down the road. Well I guess that is it for now, the real questions start when I pick it up. Here are a few photos as well.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...s-i-ii-iii-16/ to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You'll not be alone there having an alternative engine installed.
