Hello all! As a new owner of a 1990 Jaguar which has all it's original equipment who would also like to enjoy some modern conveniences in my car, I have a dilemma. The radio buttons don't work (except the tune^ button) and antenna is broken. I want to be able to enjoy music, both radio and CDs in my car. Also things like keyless entry, security, etc. Are these easy to integrate into a classic vehicle without compromising the integrity and value of the car? I welcome tips, suggestions, recommendations. Thanks!

This section is for Intros and your tech question should be posted in the appropriate model section.

When you did your Intro on Sept 24th, I responded that your 1990 could be a Series III or an XJ40. If you confirm which model it is, I'll move this post to the right section for you.

You can buy new antennas, or even just the aerial mast on its own without the motor, plus new or used radio/cassette players, even CD players, all on the internet.

However keyless entry, and additional security may be more difficult. Why additional security, it's not a high value car ?
