hi,
it sounds like your car is similar to a Series 3 XJ-6 ? (Series 3 = 1980-1987).

if yes, then your Forum is the Series I, II, and III XJ6/12. Check it out!

same site, different Forum, but it includes the Daimler versions which are great cars that never made it to the USA.

Welcome to the forum Brandon,

I've moved your post from MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler to New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum so everyone sees it.

Your 1980 Daimler Sovereign 4.2 is the equivalent of the Jaguar XJ6 Series III. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj6-xj12-series-i-ii-iii-16/ to the XJ6 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Other Areas Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/other-areas-43/
to find other members in your part of the World.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
