Thumbs up My First XK8 Excited and Anxious! lol

Hi All, Been reading this great forum for a few weeks, now took plunge and bought a 97 XK8. beautiful, but needs a few things sorting...theres always a list of things to do with a newly acquired car. Bit of a ambition to own one of these, so still flying high, although as title says bit nervous too. looking forward to catching up with anyone near me, thats Market Rasen / Lincoln. Always up for a chat about Jaguars! Or any other motor for that matter! Cheers Jeff
1st ever post so hope it works out....

Welcome to the forum Jeff,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello, Jeff,
Yes, there's always a 'honeymoon' period with any 'new' car. Hopefully yours will last for a good long while.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Congratulations on your purchase. I too, am a new (used) XK8 owner. 55,000 miles on a 98 convertible. We'll have to keep in touch and see how we like our 8's. Might take a bit til I get some miles on it as the weather isn't real condusive to road trips in western Michigan right now.
