Default Need help with used replacement or reconditioned sound system.

Just acquired a 1997 Jaguar XK8 (64,000 miles) which is great except for the radio (antenna needs replacing), cassette (will occasionally work on new cassettes ... yes I have an old collection of about two hundred) and a cd control (Alpine CHM-S611 6 disk changer located in the trunk which also needs replacing). The Jag runs great (I enjoy older cars of value) but the sound is worthless in its present condition.

Need finding used replacement/reconditioned parts or recommendations regarding what I can effectively substitute for the existing equipment. I can live without having the ability to play cassettes and would like to know if I can replace the existing equipment with a later year Jaguar system.

Thank you in advance for any help this forum and its members can provide. Look forward to the experience. Ted

Thank you Elinor for your kind response. Currently, I am simply trying to figure how to navigate jaguarforums.com as I can. I enjoyed your quote "Driven as She Was Intended to be Driven; With Great Enthusiasm and Enormous Panache as Befits Her Racing Heritage." Picked my Jag up in southeaster Texas and 1800 + miles later (24 hours total driving time) I arrived home in California. I agree I "she" is great to drive after you finally get behind the wheel. Thank again, Ted.
