Just a quick intro.

Just sold my 2005 Chevy SSR and got a great deal on the xk8. First thing I did was change tentioners (thank you forum), got a full service and put in new bluetooth sterio system. Now ready to clean up seats, conv top. Looks like I bought into a Jaguar lifestyle... Love it, hate it, fix it, (repeat).

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

When you spend a lot of time reading threads, you end up thinking Jaguars are always in pieces in the garage!

Tensioners was the big issue and you've already taken care of that. Next two to check are cooling system and fluid change in the "sealed-for-life" transmission.

After that, long Summer drives are waiting!
