Default New F-Type coupe!

We picked up our 2016 Italian Racing Red F-Type coupe on Thursday. Brogue leather, interior and exterior black packs, premium and vision packs, with climate pack and flat bottomed steering wheel.

The salesman was a Forum member, and another Forum member was at the dealership as well. Small world.

I'm retired, from BP, for almost 12 years. They did lure me back though, for a few months, to help out after the oil spill.

This is my first Jaguar, but I did own 3 MGBs, and a Daimler SP 250 (Dart), and lived almost 3 years outside of London, so I have been exposed to British cars.

I traded my 2000 C5 Corvette Coupe (third Vette) to get a 2012 Mazda Miata Power Hard Top for my wife, then ordered the Jag in August. It was built 11/2, but missed that day's ship, and had to wait 10 days for the next one. If you follow your car on the W&W web site, and see "Returned to Shipper", that probably means that there was no room on that ship, be patient.

The car has great looks, and I had to field questions at two stops on the first day of ownership.

Yes, there is brake dust all over the silver wheels, but it wipes off.

Welcome.

Bit of a difference to the "Dart", maybe?.

Hard choice that as the Dart's are just "special".
