New F-Type P340 Convertible owner from Raleigh, NC
Hi!
I am an 80-year-old who purchased 2019 F-Types P340 Convertible last week. I love it and it brings back memories. When I was 20 years old I had a red Jaguar XK 150s roadster for a few years. It's the only car that I still dream about. I thought about finding a used 1950 XK 150s model and they are available but very expensive and it is hard to find parts. So, I bought a modern one from an individual here in Raleigh.
My luck is that it is exactly what I wanted. Its British Racing Green with a light tan convertible top and brown interior, It only has 35,000 miles on the odometer. It will be my "Fun Car" and I also have a Mercedes small SUV and a Chrysler minivan.
Other bobbies are photography, woodworking, fly fishing, astronomy and computers. I live in Raleigh, NC but am originally from Erie, Pennsylvania. I am an electrical engineer, businessman, manufacturer, consultant but now fully retired and experiencing my second childhood. I have for adult, married children and nine grandchildren.
